There is a weekly Shorter Catechism question and answer in each week's worship bulletin. Additionally, every child who successfully recites the entire Shorter Catechism for the session receives a Trinitarian Bible Society Bible with metrical Psalter in the back. Session of FPCR also encourages member families to take part in catechism by using the Shorter Catechism as part of family worship. Last year one adult member also earned a Bible by reciting the entire Larger Catechism for the session.
