Brothers,

Here is the substance of a public repentance made by our session to our churches in Edmonton and Prince George;

Your elders humbly repent before the congregation of God's people and seek God's forgiveness and yours as to our ignorant yet sinful leadership in not submitting to lawful directives from our presbyterian forefathers as contained in the Directory for Public Worship and the Form of Government. We have in practice denied the presbyterian form of worship and government which we profess with our mouths to be biblical. May God be merciful to us as we seek to be faithful and loving shepherds in leading God's flock beside still waters and into green pastures. Pray that God would grant that we would always endeavor by His grace to speak the truth in love.
