Subject: Progress Report

Dick:

I thought I might give you a brief note as to my progress with the material you have recently sent to me. I have read eveything except the material by Rutherford from his Peaceable Plea and Due Right, of which I have read the first 22 pages. I agree wholeheartedly and unreservedly with all of this material. I hope to finish the Rutherford material soon, and then I will proceed to read whatever I can from my own library (concerning these issues) which I have had for years but have not had the time to read.

Do you know of anyone who has available copies of Rutherford's Peaceable and Plea, Due Right of Presbytery, and MacPherson's The Doctrine of the Church in Scottish Theology. I would like to obtain copies if reasonably priced. The Still Waters Revival photocopy of Due Right is too expensive. I have contacted a book store in Edinburgh concerning MacPherson's work.

If you have any info, please let me know. Also, I begin my new job this coming Monday, Deus voluntas.

For Christ's Crown and Covenant,

Jerry Crick
