Hi Terry,

Sorry, but I fail to see the relevance of your quote to my post.  Don't
let
that alarm you, it wouldn't be the first time that the obvious eluded my 
perception.  But the verse you quote is in reference to anarchy which I
in
no way espoused in what I wrote (I don't think).  At least it was not my
intention to do so.  The point of my post is that we are doing a very
poor
job of representing to the culture at large what the church qua the
Church
should be, and an abysmal job of maintaining her pristine image in such
a
way that the civil magistrate can make a clear distinction between the
body
and the corpse down the block.  I have not advocated resisting the
power,
I have advocated giving him something to work with.  It's like buying a
new
car, inviting every stranger who comes by to add all manner of
nondescript
foreign matter to the fuel tank, then picketing the dealer because it
runs
rough.
